Christmas Card 2013
In true Savannah-fashion, our Christmas cards are just now on their way through the postal service and into the hands of some of our family and friends. Since they're running a little late anyway, I wanted to go ahead and share the online version with all of you.
Last year, I was able to make a thrifty newlywed card for pretty darn cheap and this year isn't completely different. Ever the holiday-hoarder, I bought our Christmas photo frame cards last January when the holiday clearances were really awesome and I saved them for this very week. The details are a little jumbled, but I do know I got them from Target and the original price was $7.00 for a box of 16 cards and 16 envelopes. I probably snatched them up on an 80% off day (at least), so they were probably around $1.40 per box (I got 3). Sweet deal!
Using our new printer (our only real Black Friday purchase), I printed up all the address and return labels. If you've been around here for any amount of time, you'll know I'm not the biggest fan of my handwriting. My printer definitely saved me some major hassle. I did, however, sign the inside with a metallic gold sharpie.
For our holiday picture this year, I had plenty to choose from. We recently had a photo shoot with Ashley from Live. Laugh. Photograph. here in Dallas. Since we're celebrating more than a year as Dallasites and finally feeling like this is "home," we thought the urban backdrop would be perfect for us.
Be sure to check out more of Ashley's awesome work on her blog.
Early Merry Christmas to you all (can you believe it's actually almost here?!)
