Exploring Miami
I've been a little MIA here on the blog lately, but that's because I was busy packing and freaking out a bit about not having a hotel this week. Coach and I are finally settled here in Florida (with hotels booked) until the beginning of next week. We’re here for his weekend volleyball tournament, but instead of just staying for 2 nights, like we did last year, we wanted to squeeze in a few more days to just explore and get to know Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
These past 18 hours have already been such a great time because we got to hang out with my good friend Alex while we stayed with her. Her studio apartment is the cutest and we're so happy we got to sleep there, especially after a night of flying and lots of shuttling around to get a rental car. Waking up to palm trees in the front yard is always nice too, right?

PS: I know a cold front just hit back home in Texas,
so we're definitely in a good place to be right now; it's 81 degrees!
