School Kitchen Shower
Since I've been substituting at my high school, it's been pretty cool to sit at the "teacher table" at lunch and become even better friends with all of the ladies who taught me when was a teen. A few weeks ago, they threw me a Kitchen Bridal Shower after school. Although it was Homecoming week and "Nerd Day," we all changed clothes to look a little more cute for the shower.
They spruced up the HS library with such cute pink & yellow decorations, like this "Miss 2 Mrs" banner. My hosts did an awesome job with the decorations, snacks and punch. Everything was so great!
Look at these cute little popsicle sticks they creating for topping off the cupcakes! They were decorated with all kinds of kitchen objects, foods, and capital letter "P"s for my future-new-last-name, of course.
A friend of my Mom gave her this shirt to wear to the shower. It's blinged out with "Mother of the Bride"
We got so many great gifts: our silverware, recipes and mini crock pot, just to name a few. Thanks so much to my hostesses and all my guests that came to enjoy some laughs, give gifts and have some great snacks after a long day at school. I appreciate you all so much!
