Bedroom Help

I'm needing some design help, friends! I'm so tired of my walls being bare. It was fine at first, but the beige I can't paint is getting a little overwhelming. I've come up with a few simple options I would like. 

1. I've been in love with this fabric from IKEA (BRITTEN NUMMER) for a while now. I don't have any particular ties to numbers (my husband definitely does: geometry teacher), but I am in love with typography and pretty words. I also love the simplicity of it. I would cover a couple of canvases with the fabric, making one large piece as long as the headboard. 

2. I salvaged about five large green shutters from a moving sale not too long ago. I could sand and repaint them and hang about three of them (heavy as they may be) onto the wall. 

3. This is probably a little more typical, but may put four or so large black and white pictures (of our wedding?), black skinny frames with a white matte. 

I'm leaning towards the IKEA fabric right now, but I'd love to hear your opinions. I'll be searching Pinterest all weekend for ideas too. What is above your bed in your rooms?
