Honey Butter Waffle
If you follow me on social media, you'll know that Whataburger has released their Honey Butter sauce to stores. THE Honey Butter sauce that is sold on their Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits (that I love so much that we served at our wedding).
The sauce is sold in HEB stores, which Dallas doesn't have. I was really planning a road trip to the nearest HEB, which is over an hour away. After doing some Twitter-browsing, I discovered that Central Market is owned by HEB and they have the products too! After searching my local CM over, this beautiful bottle was found in the "breakfast" refrigerated section.
Now, I don't exactly have any biscuits or chicken at my house right now (nor would they taste as good as Whataburger), so I wanted to figure out what else HB sauce would taste great on. I've discovered, friends, if you love waffles, you need this sauce! We already put butter on waffles anyway, why not mix it up a bit, drop syrup, and enjoy some sweet honey?
If this stuff didn't have to be refrigerated, I promise you I'd be sending you a 12-bottle shipment to your house right now...but, it's just not possible, friends. Find your nearest HEB or Central Market to get your own Honey Butter. (I've also heard that some Brookshires have their ketchup and mustard, so maybe the HB sauce is on its way too).
