Merry House

Right before I took the big plunge and took down my Christmas decorations (it's truly just the saddest day of the year), I realized I hadn't taken any pictures of our Christmas decorations. The first Christmas in our house and I nearly missed the oh-so-important decor! I quickly cleared the rooms of the holiday tornados enough and grabbed some shots from around the house. 

Late, as usual, but here is how our house looked during our very first holiday season in it: 

KITCHEN

Receiving pictures of friends' sweet kiddos or small notes from faraway family members are definitely a highlight of the month. This year, I displayed the cards on the fridge alongside a favorite quote from "Elf."

OFFICE

The little tree that I got last year is probably always going to be my favorite because it has all of our vintage and sentimental ornaments. Wedding gifts, all the way to our 2017 ornament and everything in-between.
