Holidallas | Gaylord Texan Christmas
Thanks to a radio contest and my awesome mother-in-love, my family and I got to spend a night at Gaylord Texan. I'd never seen the resort during the holidays. As pretty as it is throughout the year, it has so much to see for Christmas. Lights and festive decor galore.
On the resort, we also got to participate in their indoor winter wonderland, ICE!®. This year's theme was Santa Claus is Comin' To Town. We walked through 9 degree "weather" and saw two million pounds of ice sculptures taking you through the classic stop motion movie scenes. It was cold, but it was so cool to see!
ICE!® is open until January 1, but the Gaylord Texan is open year-round. Definitely worth the trip.
We love spending the holiday season in our city of Dallas, TX. My hope is to spread some of that DFW Christmas cheer with y'all with my Holidallas posts.
