Breakfast Sausage Bites
There's no denying our obsession of breakfast food. Our proposal was over pancakes and our wedding was celebrated with waffles and biscuits. But, even way back when we were just flirty friends at our dorm, Coach and I bonded over our love of sausage cheese bites. He loved them. I loved them. Ergo, we loved each other.
Besides all that nostalgia of being young and in love, this relatively simple recipe is such a winner for us still because we almost always have these ingredients on hand...plus, it doesn't take a whole lot of time and effort to make.
WHAT YOU NEED
1 lbs. Breakfast Sausage | 4 cups Shredded Cheese | 3 cups Pancake Baking Mix | 1 Tbs Water
WHAT YOU DO
Mix all those ingredients up in a large bowl using a wooden spoon or your hands (personally, I think hands work much better). Once it's well mixed, begin rolling 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet. Cook for 20+ minutes at 350°. ENJOY.

While we usually pair these bites with cinnamon rolls or omelettes for an easy-going weekend morning breakfast, it's one of those easy appetizers that you can bring along anywhere, even if it's not a breakfast event - an award show watch party, a get-together for the big football game or work holiday luncheon. I've never seen anyone NOT enjoy these bites!
